BILSTEIN and Schaeffler develop joint training course
The headquarters of BILSTEIN and Schaeffler are more than 350 kilometers apart. In terms of cars however, the two renowned companies are direct neighbours: While BILSTEIN produces shock absorbers and springs, the Herzogenaurach-based company supplies parts and accessories around the axle. Since everything here is literally interrelated and builds on each other, the two companies will be offering a two-day training course starting late August, which will be set up jointly. The first course date is 22/23 August 2019. The live training sessions can be booked via the Schaeffler training portal “REPXPERT”. Further information is available from the BILSTEIN Academy at the following e-mail address: [email protected].
“This is a magnificent combination of two top brands,” says Christos Farakos, Marketing Key Account Manager at BILSTEIN. “The common technical context now helps to better present the individual work steps and the relationships between the individual components,” says BILSTEIN Training Manager Rainer Popiol. Both BILSTEIN and Schaeffler use theoretical parts that build on each other. A practical demonstration of what has been learned is provided in order to deepen the knowledge.
Experienced employees of the respective company, such as Rainer Popiol or Dimitris Kouvaras, will direct the events. BILSTEIN is looking forward to the cooperation that really is a win-win situation – not only for the two companies, but also for the participants of the training course. They benefit from the “interdisciplinary” knowledge imparted by this holistic approach. The time economy is also optimal, as a single event covers the entire area around the chassis.
