Our products are subject to the highest quality and safety standards when it comes to technical quality and durability. To guarantee this BILSTEIN quality in the long term, we offer our BILSTEIN WARRANTY PROMISE to you. A promise of reliability and dependability for your BILSTEIN products and your vehicle.

In addition to the general warranty period of two years, we offer our LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY for air springs/air spring modules, valid throughout their lifetime, and our extended warranty for performance products.

General warranty for products purchased in the EU

The BILSTEIN distributor warrants that products purchased in the EU shall be free from defects in design, material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase (see also BILSTEIN Distributor Warranty Promise).

SLimited lifetime warranty for air springs purchased in the EU (B3 air springs/B4 air spring modules)

The BILSTEIN distributor warrants that air springs/air spring modules purchased in the EU shall be free from defects in design, material and workmanship throughout their lifetime (see also BILSTEIN Distributor Warranty Promise).

Limited lifetime warranty for performance products purchased in the EU (B 14/B 16/Clubsport products)

BILSTEIN warrants that products purchased via the BILSTEIN e-commerce platform and installed by a BILSTEIN expert (“BE”) shall be free from defects in design, material and workmanship for a period of four years from the date of purchase (max. 100,000 km) (see also BILSTEIN Distributor Warranty Promise).

Proceed in case of defects

Please contact your BILSTEIN distributor if, in spite of all quality controls, your product proves to be defective. Please read our BILSTEIN Distributor Warranty Promise and follow the steps described therein to make your claim or repair as swift and straightforward as possible:

  • 1. Contact your BILSTEIN dealer by letter or email, providing information on the product and the defect, to request the return of the product and the issue of a return goods authorization (RGA).
  • 2. Return your product (packaged safely for transportation) with the requested documents (purchase invoice, RGA number visible on the outside of the package, installation invoice) to your distributor or your BILSTEIN dealer.
  • 3. Your BILSTEIN distributor will take care of everything else.
