BILSTEIN Baja 1000 Victory!

Class 11 winner uses BILSTEIN shocks.

The 2019 SCORE Baja 1000 was a brutal race for the record books. For the first time in 43 years the race was postponed 24 hours due to extreme weather that rendered the course impassible. As the torrential rain subsided the course was a muddy mess. Combined with an already challenging route, the attrition rate among 4-wheel vehicles was very high.

Class 11 racer Dennis Hollenbeck was the only one of his class to finish the arduous course, squeaking in just under the 32 hour time limit. These VW Beetle racecars are seriously limited and pose a real challenge to the few who are willing to accept the strict rules.

Hollenbeck races on a set of custom BILSTEIN  M9100 shocks, paired with huge Blackhawk reservoirs. Check out the video of their experience winning the longest non-stop off-road race in the world!
