BILSTEIN In Las Vegas: SEMA 2018!

Thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America debuts exciting new products and technology at the 2018 SEMA show.

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show is the largest automotive aftermarket event in the United States. The enthusiast culture of everything automotive congregates at the Las Vegas Convention Center to display and experience the latest exciting products and developments the industry has to offer.

BILSTEIN Shock Absorbers is fittingly located in the prime real estate of central hall – Racing & Performance. With a huge 30×80’ footprint on the show floor, the gamut of products we have pioneered are bookended with two premium featured booth vehicles.

The 2018 Jeep JL crawling through the booth is equipped with 8100 series bypass shocks – a direct fit suspension solution complimenting a 3.5-inch lift and rendering over 12-inches of wheel articulation to conquer the trails.

Representing the pavement side of performance is the Dodge Hellcat Redeye of Wesley Motorsports. This race-prepped package is equipped with BILSTEIN MDS dampers to take on the infamous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, GRIDLIFE and Global Time Attack events across the country.

Select highlighted products on display include the B8 8112 (ZoneControl® CR)/8100 suspension system – an industry revolutionizing package that utilizes 3 independent pistons to provide position sensitive damping over extreme terrain.

The tuning segment sees the exciting release of the B6 and B16 DampTronic® applications for the Volkswagen Mk7 Golf R and GTI. This plug-and-play adaptive suspension works seamlessly with the factory electronic controls to retain full functionality of the DCC driving modes and provide a sporty ride.
