BILSTEIN Racers Dominate the Podium at the 50th World 100

Victory is the first for Bilstein-backed racer, Jonathan Davenport, in the prestigious dirt late model event.

Jonathan Davenport etched his name alongside the dirt late model greats, winning the 50th World 100 Saturday night at Eldora Speedway. It was the first victory in the prestigious event by a Bilstein-backed racer.

The Blairsville, Georgia native held off Mike Marlar, another Bilstein driver, to take the title and $53,000 purse. In fact, Bilstein drivers nearly swept the podium, as Davenport and Marlar’s teammate, Tim McCreadie, finished fourth.

“I am very proud of my entire team and everyone at Bilstein for their continued support of my team and myself in capturing the World 100,” said Davenport, who will be back in action Sept. 16-18 at Knoxville Speedway at the 17th Annual Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals.
