BILSTEIN Racers Find Success at Crandon

The first round of LOMSCL produced winners in multiple categories.

The first round of the Lucas Oil Midwest Short Course League (LOMSCL) attracts racers from both coasts, competing on the hallowed ground of Crandon International Raceway for the 26th annual Brush Run. The first of two events at the Wisconsin venue, Spring Crandon marks the beginning of the east coast season for eager truck and buggy racers. Many of our BILSTEIN LOORRS racers double dip, competing in both series.

This Father’s day weekend produced fantastic results among our BILSTEIN racers. Keegan Kincaid took the first place in Pro2 along with Trey Gibbs winning Super Buggy. Ryan Beat battled his way to a pair of second place finishes in Pro Lite.

“Swept the weekend for the season opener here at my hometown track! Time to dial in the truck and win a cup race.”

Ryan Beat

“Solid weekend at Crandon With two 2nd place finishes. Sunday morning we thought we had improved our speed from Saturday with fast time in practice on track conditions were similar to Saturday’s main event. Planning for similar track conditions unfortunately was the wrong gamble to take. We were not ready for such wet slick conditions when it came to the main and it showed. We just didn’t have the speed until the last two laps of the race once the track started drying out. Live and you learn, but thankful to still end up on the box both days!”
