BILSTEIN Racers Sweep Pro2 Podium at LOORRS Wheatland!

West Coast BILSTEIN Racers return for three rounds of short course action in Wheatland, MO.

Rounds 3, 4 and 5 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) made their way to the midwest in Wheatland, MO. BILSTEIN racers from the west coast dominated the Pro2 podium, debuted new race trucks, and showed why BILSTEIN shocks are integral to their success.

In round 3, Doug Mittag and Trey Gibbs took the silver in their respective classes, with Ryan Beat securing the bronze in Pro2. In round 4 on Saturday, BILSTEIN racers really put on a show of force with a Pro2 Podium sweep! BILSTEIN racer Jerett Brooks debuted his brand-new truck “El Diablo” in Wheatland and ran away with the gold.

“We got it done today! P1 in our brand new truck. So awesome from building this truck from nothing all in house we put so much in work in and it for sure payed off in the long run! Want to give a big thank you to Tanner and Nick we built a fast truck boys. Thank you to everyone that supports this team!” Brooks stated.

Backed up by teammates Doug Mittag and Mickey Thomas, the podium was flush with BILSTEIN victory! Also in round 4, BILSTEIN ProLite racer Cole Mamer took first place after a challenging round 3. “So pumped to come away with the WIN today!! After my struggles yesterday we went back to work and found some speed!” Mamer announced.

Round 5 spelled mechanical trouble for Brooks’ new truck but left the door open for a one-two punch in the Pro2 field with BILSTEIN racers Doug Mittag and Mickey Thomas taking the gold and silver. “Number 1! My team killed it this weekend!” Mittag congratulated. In the Pro Buggy class, 3-time LOORRS champion Darren Hardesty Jr. battled to a 3rd place finish.
