BILSTEIN Unveils New Motorsport Shocks at PRI 2018

From our Mooresville North Carolina facility, new offerings for the Late Model and Quarter Midget classes.

The Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show 2018 in Indianapolis was a monumental year for BILSTEIN. Debuting several new motorsport products to serve the Late Model, Modified and Quarter Midget fields there was significant buzz in the halls about what was going on at booth #2001.

At 10:30 am Thursday, the grand unveiling of Tim McCreadie’s Late Model was attended by fans and media. The announcement of McCreadie’s partnership with BILSTEIN was exciting for the BILSTEIN team.

Drawing even more attention and energy to the BILSTEIN booth was the all-new BILSTEIN Shock Shop – an interactive display where all show-goers were invited to step up and see how easy it is to disassemble and re-assemble a BILSTEIN motorsport shock. Those who chose to take on the challenge against the clock had their times logged for a prize at the end of the day.

Our friends at Turnology Magazine stopped by to gain a little technical insight on the newly released AS2-R and XVA-30 shocks. These shocks while shown in circle track trim, are modular and can be used for other motorsport applications such as road racing.
