BILSTEIN’s Maiden Late Model Win in Australia

Team Vosbergen Racing dominated winning both his heats and 30 lap final at the Perth Motorplex Pro Dirt Series event.

BILSTEIN’s motorsports team in Moorseville, NC supports circle-track racing on a global scale – developing modular high-performance products to serve the demands of competitive racers in multiple classes.

Team Vosbergen Racing drove their BILSTEIN AS2-R-equipped Longhorn Chassis to BILSTEIN’s first Late Model Main event win in Australia. Brent dominated winning both his heats and 30 lap final at the Perth Motorplex Pro Dirt Series event. We got with TVR and asked them why they choose BILSTEIN for their racing program.

How does it feel to get the first Late Model Main Event win for BILSTEIN in Australia?

We are really happy to represent such a renowned brand like BILSTEIN here in Australia and to deliver their first win in Australia was a great feeling as we know how hard the team back in the USA have been working to get a competitive Dirt Late Model shock package together, we have been seeing the success on track in the USA and now we have delivered in Australia!

How does your shock setup contribute to your success?

Nowadays shocks and suspension packages are a critical part of any race teams’ success and we are grateful for the product and support BILSTEIN provide and believe we have one of the best packages out there. BILSTEIN have provided us with the shocks to get the job done!

Why does BILSTEIN work for your racing program?

BILSTEIN for us was an easy choice after discussing options with Jim Hiland and Kevin Rumley, they assured us that they are working hard to improve the product and will continue to make improvements and pass onto the racer. They have done this and now we are starting to see the results on the track. The connection via Longhorn Chassis also helped with our decision although we know that these shocks will work on any chassis combination.

What’s next? Future goals and plans?

With our season coming to a close downunder with only a few races left, we hope to get TVR back on the top of the podium again and keep building on our success so far which had until the recent win included several runner up finishes in some of the biggest events in Australia.

We are excited for the future and just want to keep TVR at the pointy end and winning races.

We are also now working on our 2020 USA Race Tour Schedule which will include 15 to 20 races throughout June & July in TN, GA, NC, KY & VA, we should have a firm schedule out in the next month with some more details which we are excited about.
