McCreadie clinches 2021 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Championship with BILSTEIN shocks

Tim “T-Mac” McCreadie has clinched the 2021 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) championship after an incredible season of success.

McCreadie, who races on BILSTEIN AS2-R Series shock absorbers, topped the podium for the 9th time at the Great Lakes 50 on October 1, further extending his points lead. A solid 3rd place finish in the Rome Showdown on October 10 officially secured the series championship for the Watertown, NY racer, even before the final race last weekend.

“Congratulations to Tim McCreadie and his team on an incredible season and well-deserved championship in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series,” Aaron Morey, Head of Motorsports at BILSTEIN said. “We are proud to support such a dedicated and ambitious racer and look forward to even more success in seasons to come.”

This is McCreadie’s first championship in the LOLMDS.

“Winning the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship has always been a goal for me,” McCreadie said. “I am really proud of this accomplishment. The support I receive from partners like BILSTEIN is a big part of my success on the track.”

“Teaming up with BILSTEIN three years ago was one of the best decisions I’ve made as a driver,” McCreadie added. “Looking across the pit area and seeing so many BILSTEIN customers and knowing I played a part in building this success makes me so proud. BILSTEIN provides great support for racers and they are definitely the leader in the shock industry.”

McCreadie’s #39 Paylor Motorsports car uses BILSTEIN’s AS2-R Series shock absorbers designed specifically for motorsports applications to provide premium performance through superior tuning and modular design. The package features an aluminum-bodied remote reservoir with tunable base valve technology and several adjustment options mated to Bilstein’s AS2 Series aluminum modular shock. The lightweight threaded body shock can be used with or without coil over hardware. The AS2-R Series shock absorbers offer racers a versatile damper that maximizes suspension travel and gives an endless range of options for tuning and upgradeability.
