“Tonight was good!” Bilstein truck racer Ryan Beat shouted from victory lane. Beat, from El Cajon, California, has been on a total roll, capturing yet another win during Round 6 at Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, Nevada over the weekend.
A storm front rolled through during qualifying, cancelling qualifying, and threatened the race. By nightfall, the storm passed and the energized fans packed the house. For the Pro Lite division, it was the Ryan Beat show in the Bilstein Pro Lite Chevy.
The off road truck racer is known for smart racing and makes it all look too easy. Beat explained how the win went down. “Everything worked out from the start. No qualifying session meant we lined up based on points. I started front row inside and made it count. We got a good start and ran a clean race.”
Reno is a super fast track with long straight-a-ways. Once you are on a roll, it just starts to come together after that. “I put the truck out front and stayed clean, out of the carnage,” Ryan went on. “Our Bilstein shocks were dialed and and I was able to bring home the win and the fast lap!”
The Round 6 win makes it three in a row and four for the season for Ryan Beat and Bilstein Shock Absorbers in the Lucas Oil Off Road Series. Ryan now extends his lead in the Pro Lite division points standings
