Team BILSTEIN Puts Up Wins and Podiums In Round 4 & 5 of LOORRS

Wheatlands, Missouri played host to rounds 4 & 5 of the Lucas Oil off Road Racing Series on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24. Sweltering heat and stifling humidity plagued racers on this first weekend of summer 2018. The sunny skies may have made for high temperatures in the cockpit but also meant a dry track for predictable traction.

In a one-two punch on Saturday, BILSTEIN racers, Darren Hardesty Jr. and Ryan Beat took first place checkers in Pro-Buggy and Pro-Lite respectively. Rounding out the day with a consistent pace, Doug Mittag took the the podium with a third place finish in Pro4.

On Sunday morning the blistering sun gave way to torrential rain – making for a muddy and sloppy race day around Lucas Oil Speedway. Team BILSTEIN racers, Hardesty and Beat, doubled-down on their Saturday success with a pair of first place finishes again. Darren’s Pro-Buggy victory on Saturday marks four consecutive wins. Jerett Brooks and Doug Mittag kept their heads down on a charge to the podium for 2nd and 3rd place finishes on Sunday.

Ryan Beat reflected, “This weekend was very valuable to us. The team has been putting in the work to ensure our success. There is no easing up now, it is hammer down time.”

The next round of LOORRS action takes the blue and yellow BILSTEINers to Sparks Nevada. Watch out for another strong showing from these dedicated racers.
