Most of the BILSTEIN products available in the North American aftermarket are backed by our LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY for as long as you own your BILSTEIN products, while certain product categories are backed by industry leading warranties ranging from 90 days to two (2) years. Limited Lifetime Warranty for Products Purchased in North America
BILSTEIN warrants that aftermarket products purchased from a BILSTEIN distributor in North America will be free from defects in design, material, and workmanship for as long as you own the product. (Exclusions apply, for details please see the BILSTEIN Warranty Promise).
Separate Warranty Period for Products From the Steering Rack, Standalone B3 Coil Spring, B3 Leaf Spring, and B8 5160/8100/8112 Categories Purchased in North America
BILSTEIN warrants to the original purchaser that products from one of these categories will be free from defects in design, material, and workmanship for a period of two years (for details, please see the BILSTEIN Warranty Promise).
Separate Warranty Period for Products from the Clubsport, Motorsport, B8 5125/5165/8125/9200/9300 Series and Control Arm Category Purchased in North America:
BILSTEIN warrants to the original purchaser that products from one of these categories will be free from defects in design, material, and workmanship for a period of 90 days (for details, please see the BILSTEIN Warranty Promise).
Proceed in case of defects
Please contact your BILSTEIN distributor directly if, despite our strict quality controls, you believe your product has any defects in design, material, and workmanship. To ensure that your warranty claim is resolved as quickly and easily as possible, please read our BILSTEIN Warranty Promise and follow the steps outlined therein:
- 1. Contact your BILSTEIN distributor or retailer in North America to request a return goods authorization (RGA)
- 2. Package the product safely for shipping, include a copy of the invoice as proof of purchase, affix the RGA number visibly and legibly to the outside of the package, and return the product to your BILSTEIN distributor or retailer.
- 3. Your BILSTEIN distributor or retailer will take care of everything else.

Unless otherwise instructed by BILSTEIN personnel, please return the product in question to your original place of purchase for warranty processing.
